Goa Airports Flights to Tour

Goa state has only two airports where both airports provide domeitc and itnernational both types flights. Goa Airport is the sole international airport in Goa and with location near Vasco Da Gama at Dabolim and it operates on INS Hansa which is a civil base of Indian Navy. The airport has an integrated terminal which got inaugurated in December 2013. the airport handles over 7.6 million passengers and another proposed airport at Mopa is under construction. The airport is the main entrance for the tourists coming from offshore as India do not have much of waterways to reach its shores. The 9th biggest airport in terms of handling passengers and goods the Goa economy has got a great boost.

The traffic is expected to get a greater growth in coming years and the modern terminal since the year 2014 has replaced the old domestic terminal along with the old International Terminal which stands unused now. A part of the airport is used by Indian Navy which is the prime beneficiaries of Goa Airport and much of the command is under the Naval base.The Goa airport has better connectivity with the various transportation mode such as shuttle bus, taxis and the private operators are also there with giving easy reach to the hotel and other destinations with car hire and car rental are an option.
