Anant Narsinha Temple , South Goa

Ananta Mandir, Goa is one of the temple of Sheshnag at a distance of 27 Km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand and it is said that the temple is built in 1540. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Ananta is the Sheshnag on which the lord and the Goddess Shri Laxmi is always sitting at the feet of Lord Vishnu. The idol deity is craved with black stone and beside the main deity Anant Sheshashayi, the complex also has Shantadurga with Kamini, Narayan and Grampurush Temples. The structure of the temple is small and can be called quite inviting.

The three day festival of Gade which begins at Phalgun Purnima draws much of the big crowds and the devotees believe the darshan of Devchars during this particular festival called Gade. The devotees believe that the temples also need to be shown their territory so the norm of the annual jatra which gives a ride to the deities and with the pillar decoration the Ananta temple has beautiful two storey high lamp tower. With the temple having water flow on all sides and with the Vishnu temples situated in Ponda the entire area has beautiful scenery around it making it most visited temple in this locality.

Anant Narsinha is popular temple in Goa state which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Lord Anant Format). It is located at Savoi-Verem village ponda taluka, north Goa. This is a hundreds years old temple but it current constructed in 1923. Idol of the Lord Vishnu is made by black stone. Devotees celebrate several festivals at temple complex of the Hindu religion related.
